Maybe I have trying too hard. Trying too hard to swing the pendulum of life, ending up with nothing much to enjoy either way. I should just get on with what I need to do. Perhaps it will show me what I truly want to do.
Anyway recently this friend from a foreign land asked me "How are you? You looked tired" It felt nice. I don't mean the loveyouloveme kind of nice. I mean the kind of warmth from a friend. And especially when he is like thousand of miles away. Thank you! I shall do something nice for him I suppose. Friends' a good thing. :)
Recently, we went through Mattinata for voice class. It's not a hard song just that it needs that OMPH to make it that Neapolitan taste. But my range has not reached that level yet. It still lacks power and brightness to live up there without letting people hear the anti-climatic register change. I guess I should practise the Vaccai.
