GOOD BYE TWO ZERO ZERO EIGHT, HELLO TWENTY ZERO NINE!
A quick recall of 2008
I was enlisted on 14 Jan 2008. The Vocal Consort had its Annual Concert: The Canterbury Tales. I started giving tuitions. The Vocal Consort had its post concert gathering at East Coast Park! I had a chalet for fun! I started doing a lot of duties. I started doing lesser duties. I took up to 4 tuition assignments. I started learning Voice from Mr Kuek. The Vocal Consort sang in An A Capella Christmas and carolled in Concorde Hotel. Not to forget my Batam trip with Brandon, Shiyun, Bernice, Mchong, Han Rui and Jon! A 'vacation' with friends, Bo Ling likes. Whaha! Taiwan trip with family was nice too! I learnt to roll the "R" consonant a little better. I learnt to better appreciate crabs. I took EPT and passed the Written (flunked the Oral -_-). I found ASIAN KITCHEN! I spent last moments of 2008 with abdominal pain while standing outside my house. Oh yes, I became steady contributor to the TAXI industry (Be my driver please.)
Resolutions for 2009
- To have a greater and more steady income. (Don't be lazy.)
- To help my students get their As and Bs.
- To become a even better singer: Less introvert-singing, more confidence and better range, pitching and musicianship. (I want to improve)
- Create more time for myself.
- The Vocal Consort to reach and sustain greater choral excellence. Rise above the-usual-strong-but-still-not-grand-prize-winner kind of choir.
- To sing well and to my heart's content if I am given the chance for the concert Mr Kuek is organising.
- Go Taiwan/Hong Kong/some nice place
- Have more crazy outings/laughters/photos
- Read scores and play piano. More things that I want to learn. C'mon where's the time and money!!!
- Run more and swim more~
Glorious is the ending, where greater beginnings shall bloom. Isn't this how it always has been?
